Katie and George looked absolutely in love on their big day. This radiated to their family and guests and as I warmed up into the evening's entertainment I could feel the atmosphere was good. Being a Wedding DJ feels the best job in the world at times like this. After a short warm up Katie and George entered for the First Dance to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. While this is probably the most popular current first dance song right now rarely will it have been performed so avidly by a newly married couple who sang all the lyrics and for whom the audience fully supported also - a great atmosphere.
From here we moved into a Bride and Father of the Bride dance, playing The Temptations' My Girl.
Thereafter the dance floor action never stopped and it we had a superb evening, culminating with Frank Sinatra's New York New York, and Sam Smith's I'm Not the Only One - see the full playlist below.
